Sarah R. Strickland passed away December 25, 2015 in Newfane Rehab & Health Care Center. Born in Hornell, NY on July 18, 1916 she was the daughter of Charles W. and Grace M. (Baker) Baker. She enjoyed crocheting, word puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, reading, attending church and reading the bible. Sarah was predeceased by her husband Paul Strickland on June 5, 1965.
Sarah is survived by her children James (late Cynthia) Strickland of Appleton, NY, Sandra L. (Michael) DiPastena of Northport, AL, Judith (late Robert) Prentice of Appleton, NY, late Thomas (Deborah) Strickland, Dorothy Drelick and Paula Torres; grandmother of 20, great grandmother of 32 and great-great grandmother of 11; sister of Zane (Marilyn) Baker of Springfield, OH and late Ralph Baker.
Relatives and friends may call Monday, Dec. 28th from 4-8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 29th at 11 AM. Interment will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Cranberry, PA.
