Obituary of Richard J. Zaciewski

Richard J. Zaciewski passed away December 17, 2015 in Buffalo General Medical Center. Born in Lockport on October 26, 1949 he was the son of Richard and Marion (Kettenburg) Zaciewski. Richard served in the US Army from 1969 to 1971. He worked for Harrison Radiator in production for 30 years retiring 2002. He also worked for Ridge Road Express as a bus monitor. Richard enjoyed playing tennis, fishing and traveling. He also worked with handicap children who loved him dearly. Richard will be remembered as being a family man spending time with his wife and brothers.
Richard is survived by his wife of 33 years Karen (Webb) Zaciewski of Hartland; step-father of Todd; grandfather of Kody (Nina) and late Brett; great grandfather of Aubree; brother of Ronald (Marilyn) and Gary (Debra) Zaciewski; son-in-law of Marie Tagg; several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, Dec. 18th from 3-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 19th at 11 AM. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Barker Public Library, 8706 Main Street, Barker, NY 14012 would be appreciated. Visit www.pruddenandkandt.com.
