Obituary of Concetta Cafarelli Rosati

Concetta Cafarelli Rosati passed away peacefully October 31, 2015 in Odd Fellow and Rebekah Health Care Facility. Born in Rochester, NY on November 4, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Donata Palumbo Cafarelli. Concetta worked at RJ Reynolds and at Mohigan Bakery. She was a member of St. Anthony's RC Church, where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. Concetta had great faith and belief in God. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Concetta enjoyed traveling and cooking. But what brought her the greatest joy, was family gatherings, where she spent precious time with her family. She is predeceased by her husband Ugo Gesidio "Joseph" Rosati, who passed away January 24, 2004. Concetta was the mother of Margaret (Eugene) Nenni, of Lockport and the late Luigi "Lou" (Reggie) Rosati. Grandmother of Geoffrey (Kerry) Nenni, Erika (David) Nenni-Insalaco, Nicole (Jeremy) Everett and Carrie Ann (Michael) Fick; great grandmother of Cameron Joseph, Annabelle Concetta, Delilah Grace Everett, Michael Vincent Fick Jr., Dante Luigi Fick, David Eugene and Clare Amelia Insalaco. Concetta was the sister of Antoinette Surace, Irma Pietrangelo and the late Anna Cafarelli, and Lucy Riolo; she is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Friends may call Thursday 4PM to 8PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM at All Saints Parish Oratory, 391 Market Street, Lockport. Entombment will be in Queen of Heaven Mausoleum. In Lieu of flowers, memorials to All Saints Parish or Niagara Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
