Dear Family; I met Chuck when I had the priviledge to be one of Verna's nurses at Oddfellows. He was a very nice man and a loving, attentive husband to Verna. We laughed about possibly being related as my Mother's maiden name was Leavitt (W.Va) . I think of him often and am very sorry for your loss.

The consummate "nice guy", Charles Levitt was always generous with his time and painstaking in his efforts to honor and serve his fellow veterans, it was an honor to have called him friend. He shall be sorely missed. Rest in peace, Chuck.

Dear Family and Friends:
I was so sad to read of Chuck's passing. I remeber him and Verna being a large part of my family's and Grandmothers (Alvera L Gruntz) life. He was a very kind and gentle man. I know the REDS GRILL patrons of the angel sort will be celebrating his forth coming.
