Obituary of Paul Joseph Danny DiMillo
Please share a memory of Paul to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Paul Joseph Danny DiMillo, 54, died peacefully on Friday, October 23, 2015 surrounded by his loving wife, four beautiful children, mother and family at the Cleveland Clinic. Danny was the son of Italian immigrants Maria and the late Angelo DiMillo. He was born on June 29, 1961 in Lockport, New York. On June 30, 1990, he married Kathleen Sparks DiMillo. Together they created a family of four children: Angelo James, Carmella Catherine, Roserita Judith and Danny Agostino.
Danny led a full, productive and blessed life. There is nothing he enjoyed more than being with his family. He led a hero's life as a leader and mentor to his family and the lives he touched. When surrounded by his friends and family, he often said, "The most important moment is right here, right now." Danny also believed that the dinner table was one of life's simple pleasures and the means to bring family and friends together. Danny was the type of person who treated strangers like friends and made all his friends feel like family. His passions included racquetball, soccer, cycling and basketball and was an avid sports fan. He loved all kinds of music but the Beatles held a special place in his heart. Danny had unquenchable zest for life and an adventurous spirit. His smile and sense of humor will never be forgotten.
Danny was a 1983 graduate of SUNY Geneseo. He received of Masters of Business Administration from the University of Buffalo. For the past ten years, he was a Senior Marketing Manager, Vice President at First Niagara Bank. Danny served as a member of the Hospice Board and was a graduate of Leadership Niagara. In recent years, Danny had been committed to preserving Saint Anthony's and Saint Mary's churches in Lockport.
Along with his mother, wife, and four children, Danny is survived by four siblings Rosanna (Ed) Sandell, Angelo (Susan) DiMillo, Rita (Mike) Dembrow and Thomas (Michelle) DiMillo. He is also survived by his mother and father-in-law, James and Lorraine Sparks, his sister-in-law Judith Sparks (David) Arlington, brother-in-laws Thomas (Sherie) Sparks and David (Jody) Sparks. Additionally, Danny is survived by his "Zio" and "Zia" Mike and Antoinette Molinaro and many other loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
