Obituary of John Lang

John R. Lang passed away May 25, 2010 in Briody Health Care Facility. Born June 10, 1914 in Buffalo he was the son of Joseph and Ida (Fitz) Lang. John worked for Ford Motor Co. where he was a machine repairman for 26 years retiring in 1977. He was a master wood worker. John was predeceased by his wife Grace (Biddlecombe) Lang on July 23, 2008. John is survived by his two sons Richard (Gretchen) Lang of Lockport and David (Joanne) Lang of North Carolina; grandfather of Elizabeth (Robert) Hatford, David (Jill) Lang, John (Therese) Lang and Michael "Edgar" (Deane) Lang; great grandfather of eleven. Relatives and friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 AM in Christ Episcopal Church, Lockport. Interment will be in Chestnut Ridge Cemetery.
