Obituary of Evelyn Prahler

Evelyn R. Prahler of Lockport passed away Sunday May 23, 2010. Born January 8, 1921 in Albion, NY, she was the daughter of Arthur and Rosa Leoschke Kane. Evelyn was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed her family to the fullest. She was a member of the South Lockport Volunteer Fire Co. Auxiliary and also a waitress for the Shamus Restaurant. Evelyn is the wife of Bernard J. Prahler; mother of David (Janet) Prahler of Florida and John (Roberta) Prahler of Lockport. She also is the grandmother of Donna Prahler and Jamie Spry; great grandmother of Dylinger Spry, Randolph Wolf and Kirsten Wolf and sister of Helen Dempsey of Newfane, Marion Stockwell and Arthur Kane both of Lockport. Friends may call Tuesday morning from 10 to 11 o'clock in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street where funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock AM. Interment will be in Chestnut Ridge Cemetery.
