Angela Riley Obituary

Angela M. Riley passed away May 19, 2010 in Briody Health Care Facility. Born August 14, 1922 in Pekin, NY she was the daughter of Anthony and Giovanna (Petillo) Fonzi. Angela worked for Welcome Wagon, Union Sun & Journal, was a Lunch Mother for the Lockport School District and she was a member of Home Bureau. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband William "Bill" Riley in 1990.


Angela is survived by her daughters Marcia (David) Wentland and Patricia (Gerald) Muscato both of Lockport; grandmother of Aaron (Cheryl) Wentland, Brian (Megan) Wentland, Anthony Muscato and Robert (Lacey) Muscato; great grandmother of Zachary, Emma and Payton; sister of the late Frank Fonzi, Angelo Fonzi, Rose Simone, Catherine Napoleone, Josephine Horton and Bernadina DiCarlo; sister-in-law of Joan Fonzi, Mary Fonzi, Benedeto Simone, Robert Napoleone, George Horton, and Carmen DiCarlo; also survived by several nieces and nephews.


Relatives and friends may call Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 AM. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094 or to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family. Services

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 AM in the funeral home.

Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
