James L. Gow entered into rest July 21, 2015 in Niagara Hospice House. Born in Niagara Falls, NY in 1940 he was the son of the late Robert M. and Laura Jean (Bower) Gow. James served in the Army Reserves and worked for several area car dealerships, last retiring from KI-PO Motors in Ransomville, NY. Jim's biggest joy was the family he was so proud of. He enjoyed NASCAR, collected John Deere tractors, farming, basketball, his cats and dog "Red" and attending area shows with his collector cars. He was a friend to all he met. James is survived by his wife April (Greco) Gow of Royalton; father of Jordan (Emily) Gow and Adam (Haley) Gow; grandfather of Charlotte, Elanor and Gwen Gow; brother of Elizabeth (Lawrence) Mentkowski, Joanne Gothard and the late Janice Seitz and Judy Gow; also survived by several nieces and nephews. There will be no prior visitation. A luncheon in Jim's honor will be held at Hartland Bible Church in Gasport on August 1st at noon. Those attending are asked to bring stories of Jim to share. Jim had a wonderful full life and the family would love to hear your memories. Memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice or a charity of your choice. Visit www.pruddenandkandt.com.
