Obituary of Ruth Fraass

Ruth H. Fraass passed away May 20, 2010 in Odd Fellows & Rebekah Health Care Facility. Born June 10, 1917 in Buffalo she was the daughter of Theodore and Hulda (Lindell) Peterson. Ruth was a member of Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church where she belonged to the Christian Mother's. She enjoyed baking and spending time with her family. Ruth is predeceased by her husband Andrew Fraass.
Ruth is survived by her children David (Mary) Fraass, Kenneth (Linda) Fraass, Marilyn Coughlin, Sharon (John) Carroll and the late Paul Fraass; grandmother of sixteen, great grandmother of twenty-eight and great-great grandmother of two; mother-in-law of Marie Fraass; sister of Eric (Ella) Peterson, John (Anne) Peterson and the late David, Arthur, Elmer Peterson, Ellen Engert and Edith Simmons; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Sunday 3-7 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 AM in Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in Good Shepherd Cemetery. Memorials to the American Diabetes Association, Buffalo Office, 315 Alberta Drive, Suite 102, Amherst, NY 14226 would be appreciated by the family.
