Barbara Morse Bennett passed away Friday June 5, 2015 in the Town of Royalton. Born in Lockport on February 3, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Alvah and Vesta Parsons Morse. Barbara served in the US Air Force from 1954 until 1956. She worked at Ernie's Drive-in in Gasport, was a Matron at the Niagara County Jail, and also owned and operated Bennett's Tavern, with her late husband Robert Bennett who passed away in 2009. Barbara enjoyed knitting, doing puzzles and playing cards and most of all enjoying her entire family.
Mother of Jeffrey Paul Bennett, Wendy (David) Farnsworth and Cyd (Dennis) Cehulik; grandmother of Christian, Ryan and Lee Bennett, Kenita Casasus, Evan Farnsworth and Robert Cehulik; great grandmother of Kayelyn, Madalyn, Sophie, Ellie Bennett and Alyssa and Zhyana Casasus. Barbara is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Pearl Czerniecke, Jane Watkins, Viola Fidanza, Hazel Gandy, Ida Dean and Mary Lucus.
