Obituary of James C. King

James C. King passed away May 29, 2015 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Born in Weymoth, MA on June 30, 1954 he was the son of Herbert King and Ruth (Cumming) Dorey King. James served in the US Army from 1977 to 1980 receiving the Marksman Badge with M-16 bar and Sharpshooter Badge with Hand Grenade bar. He worked for Boston Buffalo Trucking in Cheektowaga as a truck driver. James enjoyed playing guitar, being out on his boat, and especially spending time with children.
James is survived by his wife of 23 years Lisa (Douglas) King of Pendleton; father of Cody King and Casey King; brother of Robert (Betty) King of Florida and H. Thomas (Sally) King of Lime Lake, NY; also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Saturday, June 6th from 2-4 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where a memorial service will follow at 4 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to the Niagara County SPCA would be appreciated by the family. Visit www.pruddenandkandt.com.
