Obituary of Pauline A. Fry

Pauline A. Fry passed away Sunday May 24, 2015 in Buffalo General Hospital. Born in Wilson on February 2, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Gertrude Bohnsteadt Zastrow. Pauline was a member of the Rapids Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, Bingo, crafts and baking, especially pies. Pauline is predeceased by her husband Howard A. Fry, who passed away July 31, 1979.
Pauline was the mother of Kathy (late James) Pinkert of Tonawanda; grandmother of David (Elizabeth) Pinkert and Paula Pinkert; great grandmother of Sean Pinkert. Pauline was the sister of Myra (Donald) Fry of Lockport, Annabelle "Ann" (Arthur) Bird of Bergholtz, Marlin "Red" (Carrol) Zastrow of Gasport, and the late Howard (Pat) Zastrow, Phyllis Schank and Joan Vought. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Thursday May 28th, 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where services will be held Friday May 29th at 10 AM. Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery. Memorials to the family would be appreciated.
