Growing up way back in time in the West End on Bristol Ave was and still holds so many memories for me and one that particularly stands out is Mr. Lewis. There could not of been a kinder and gentler man in the neighborhood. Very private but very approachable. Living down the street at the corner with my grandparents living across the street from Mr. Lewis, we all had the opportunity to know the family. I knew most of the girls but maintained a great friendship with Lori, going through school together. My father and Mr. Lewis were what I considered good friends and he was highly respected by all in the neighborhood at a time when times were a changing. The last opportunity I had to see Mr. Lewis was at my Father's funeral, I was still taken back by his gentleness and how he spoke with such genuine care for others. Mr Lewis you impacted my life and taught me respect and kindness, it has been my honor to know you. May you rest in peace with the Angels, say hello to Dad.
