I send my sincere condolences to Lamonts family and friends. He was one of the best people I have ever known in my life. I am so sorry for your loss. He had lots of friends in Oakland and surrounding cities. He always had a smile on his face. I always thought of him as my younger brother. He was loved and admired by his co-workers and employees at the Claremont Resort Hotel in the Oakland Hills where he was the Executive Supervisor of the Stewards and kitchen staff. He didn't like to fire people in his department, so he would arrange a meeting with the person and encourage the person to not feel bad about the situation. He would tell the fired employee to use him as a reference for their new job. He was a very good person. Rest in Peace my brother! I love you man...
