Obituary of Mary D'Angelo

Mary Grace D'Angelo passed away June 21, 2009 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born July 1,1925 in Lockport, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary DiPasquantonia D'Angelo. Mary was a 1943 graduate of Lockport High School. She worked in the office of the Vice President of Planning, Bell Aero Space, Niagara Falls, Office of the Director of the Arizona State Department of Transportation, Phoenix, Arizona and retired as the Administrative Assistant for the Board of Supervisors Office, Maricopa County, Phoenix, Arizona. Mary enjoyed traveling in the United States, Italy, Mexico and throughout Canada. She also enjoyed sewing clothes for porcelain dolls and playing the piano. Mary is the sister of Frances Brown, Lockport, Roseanne Bangasser, NC, Concetta Wendel, Lockport and the late Jessie Garuder, Louise Schulz, Ida DeCarlo, Amelia Manna and Patrick D'Angelo. Mary also leaves several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where prayers will be offered Wednesday morning at 9:30 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 o'clock in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St. Lockport, NY. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Memorials to the Niagara United Cerebral Palsy, 9812 Lockport Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304, Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094 or the American Lung Association of WNY, 210 John Glenn Drive #3, Buffalo, NY 14228 or the charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
