Edith F. Murrie passed away June 18, 2009 in Odd Fellows &amp; Rebekah Health Care Facility. Born November 29, 1913 in Lockport she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Corinna (DiBernadinis) Farchione. Edith worked as a practical nurse at Lockport Memorial Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband John Murrie in 1965. Edith is survived by her two daughters Nancy (Jerauld) Dowd of Lockport and Joanna (Charles) Rehm of Morrisville, NC. She is the grandmother of Jacqueline Spark, Patricia DeGiorgio, Thomas Dowd, Monica Rehm, MaryBeth Rehm, Margaret Emerson, Michelle Rehm, Mark Rehm and Matthew Rehm and several great grandchildren. Edith was the sister of Madeline Clark and Anna Apolito both of Lockport. Relatives and friends may call Sunday 3-6 PM at Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where prayers will be offered Monday at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery. Memorials to The St. John Outreach Center, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport, NY 14094 or to a charity of one&amp;#39;s choice would be appreciated by the family. <h3>Visitation</h3> Relatives and friends may call Sunday 3-6 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where prayers will be offered Monday at 9:30 AM. <h3>Services</h3> A Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. <h3>Interment</h3> Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
