Alice McGowan Obituary
Alice O. McGowan, 83, passed away June 14, 2009 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born March 31, 1926 in Buffalo she was the daughter of the late Gabriel and Anna (Patronek) Zariczny. Alice was an office clerk at Harrison Radiator for several years. She is survived by her sister-in-law Mary Zariczny of Mount Vernon, OH and several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Besides her parents Alice was predeceased by her beloved husband Charles W. McGowan and dear brothers John and Paul Zariczny.
Friends are invited to a graveside service Friday, June 19, 2009 at 1 PM at Huskey Cemetery. Memorials to the American Lung Association of WNY, 210 John Glenn, Suite 3, Buffalo, NY 14228 would be appreciated. Please visit
