Roy Macaluso Obituary

Roy "Mac" Macaluso of Lockport passed away suddenly Sunday, June 7, 2009. He was born in Newfane June 23, 1929 and was the son of the late John and Nellie Macaluso. He is survived by a son John Macaluso of Indian Lake, NY and a granddaughter Katrina (Conner) Brown, sister Margaret Pichey of Lockport and former wife Phyllis Plarr. Roy is also survived by many cousins, and was predeceased by his dear friend Gloria Wilhelm and is survived by her children Jeffery, John, Greg, Gerald and Shelley. He was an avid antique car buff and owned various businesses pertaining to automobile, used car lots, a collision shop, the Newfane Auto Parts and was adept artistically. Roy also lived in Florida after retirement and ran a resort business in Chautauqua, NY.


Relatives and friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 AM. Entombment will be in Glenwood Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers memorials to the American Heart Association would be appreciate by the family.
