James H. Stevenson passed away May 9, 2010 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born November 25, 1931 in Buffalo he was the son of John H. and Florence (Herberger) Stevenson. James served in the US Army from 1952 to 1954. He worked at Harrison Radiator for 29 years where he was a Pipe Fitter retiring in 1994. James was a Safety Officer, a member of the Lockport Wood Turners Union, the VFW, Hartland Conservation Club, taught hunter training and bow hunting training. James enjoyed gardening, hunting, the outdoors and spending time with his family.
James is survived by his wife Lois (Cox) Stevenson of Lockport; father of Jamie (Jeffrey) Wagner, Jacqueline (Patrick) Conley and Julie Sammarco; grandfather of Stephen, Lyndsey (Andrew), Erin, Sarah, Amanda, Leslie and Bradley; great grandfather of Logan, Bradi and Ty; brother of Audrey Marra, Annette Bushover, Sheila Stevenson, Donald Stevenson, the late Francis Stevenson, Albert Stevenson and Marjorie Annalora; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
