Vana (Pils) Van Buren Tavares, Florida, formerly of Lockport NY, passed away on July 9, 2009 at the age of 79. She is predeceased by her parents, F. Van Pils and Evelyn Pils, husband Floyd Van Buren and her sister Judith Van Vilet. Vana retired as manager of Shamus Restaurant. Mrs. Van Buren was a longtime member of the Lockport UCC. She is survived by her sister Jeanette Manning, son David (Tammy) Van Buren; daughter Diane Van Buren; granddaughter Melissa Conklin, grandson Brian Van Buren and granddaughter Kristen Van Buren. Graveside services will be at 11 AM, Saturday July 18 at Glenwood Cemetery. Please go to www.pruddenandkandt.com to leave an online condolence to the family.
