Marjorie A. Rignel passed away June 4, 2009 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born September 8, 1916 in Lockport she was the daughter of the late William and Florence (Degnan) Ward. Marjorie was a 1934 graduate of St. Joseph Academy and worked for 25 years for Wendel Associates as the bookkeeper. Marjorie was a past president for the Niagara County Chapter of the Sunshine League for Mentally Challenged Children and past president of the Ladies of the Elks. She also volunteered at the American Red Cross and the Veterans Hospital. Marjorie was predeceased by her husband Roy T. Rignel and daughter Judith Conlin. Marjorie is survived by her two daughters Constance (Eugene) Conley of Lockport and Rebecca Rignel of Williamsville. She is also survived by her sister Sr. Mary Constance Ward, SSMN. There will be no prior visitation. A memorial mass will be celebrated Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 10 AM in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 5 Saxton Street, Lockport. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family. <h3>Visitation</h3> There will be no prior visitation. <h3>Services</h3> A memorial mass will be celebrated Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 10 AM in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 5 Saxton Street, Lockport.
