Obituary of Dee Hamner
Dee Lelia Hamner passed away June 2, 2009 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born June 5, 1946 in Craigsville, WV she is the daughter of Tommy and Vesta (Williams) Workman. Dee worked as an accountant for Coca Cola of WNY, Tonawanda. She also worked for Central Tractor and White Pines Nursery. Dee was predeceased by her husband Edward J. Hamner on November 3, 1999.
Dee is survived by her two sons Joe (Renee) Hamner and Danny (Colleen Wibbe) Hamner; grandmother of Austin, Collin, Tristan, Rowan, Finn, DaNeille, Joelle and Timothy; sister of George, Jack and Dan Workman all of Craigsville, WV; sister-in-law of Delmas (Melanie), Vernon (Joanne), Garrell (Edith) Hamner and five sisters-in-law; also survived by her close aunt Beulah and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, June 4, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where funeral services will be held Friday, June 5, 2009 at 10 AM. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery. Memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family.
