Adele M. Brozek passed away May 7, 2010 in Millard Fillmore Gates Circle, Buffalo. Born April 2, 1927 in Buffalo, she was the daughter of John and Mary (Lesniak) Brozek. Adele worked for the Union Sun & Journal where she was an accounting clerk. She retired in 1997. She enjoyed spending time with her family, get togethers with friends, and traveling.
Adele was the sister of Henry (Gertrude) Brozek of Medina and her sister Dorothy Harris of Lockport, and the late Anne (Frank) Hrynczak of Buffalo. She was the aunt of Patricia (Tim) Green, Cynthia (Ken) Zablotny, Linda (Robert) Schafer, Albert Harris, Jr. and Timothy (Robin) Harris. Adele was also survived by several great nieces and one great nephew, and her cat Smokey.
Relatives and friends may call Tuesday 5-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport, where prayers will be offered Wednesday morning at 9:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 5 Saxton St., Lockport. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Adele's memory to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.
