Obituary of Harry Clark Sr.

Harry L. Clark, Sr. passed away May 5, 2009 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born December 6, 1931 in Lockport he was the son of the late Harry H. and Minnie E. (Schutrum) Clark. Harry served in the US Marine Corp. from 1951 to 1954 in the Korean War. While in service he earned the United Nations Service Medal, USMC Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Ribbon and the Korean Service Medal with Three Stars. Harry worked as a repairman for Harrison Radiator for 40 years retiring in December of 1989. He was a member of the VFW and enjoyed reading, working on crossword puzzles and was a sports enthusiast especially the Buffalo Bills.
Harry is survived by his wife Rosemary (Barnwell) Clark; father of Darlene Logoda and Harry (Robin) Clark, Jr.; step-father of Peter Rubens, Lisa Shepard, Barbara (Burton) Howell and Paul Rubens; grandfather of Ronald (Dawn) Yates, Joshua, Jamie Logoda, Benjamin, Lauren Clark, Zachary, Andrea, Colby, Kelley Shepard, Benjamin, Ashlee Howell, Andrew and Marshall Rubens; great grandfather of Ashley Yates; brother of Beverly (John) Gailie and the late Henry and Robert Clark; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 AM. Interment will be in Wrights Corners Cemetery.
