Obituary of Susan Pilhorn

Susan Pilhorn passed away May 3, 2009 in Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Born November 13, 1944 in Lockport she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Annie (Grundy) Elson. Susan worked as the secretary at Newfane High School for 20 years retiring in 2009. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, golfing and gardening. Susan is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years Robert Pilhorn of Burt; loving mother of one daughter Kelly Pietrzykowski of Lockport and two sons Gary (Christina) Pilhorn of Shreevesport, LA and Daniel (April) Pilhorn of Greensboro, NC; cherished grandmother of Kristi, Kiana, Zachary, Alexis, Brayden, Elora and Elizabeth; beloved sister of Isabelle (Joseph) Shesman of Waterford, PA and the late Gary Elson; also survived by several nieces and nephews and loving friends. Relatives and friends may call at Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM and Thursday 10-11 AM immediately followed by funeral services at 11 AM. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
