Obituary of Patricia Aexander

Patricia A. (Wright) Alexander, 50, of Lockport entered into rest on April 15, 2009 in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester after a 20 year uphill battle. Born December 16, 1958 she is the daughter of Patricia (Crowe) Wright of Lockport and the late Wesley Wright. Patricia graduated from Lockport High School and continued her education at N.C.C.C. earning her degree as a Professional Chef. She worked and managed at several restaurants in the Lockport area. Patricia enjoyed crafting, listening to music, cooking, watching airplanes, going to the beach, sail boats, and baby buggy's made out of watermelon. She was an avid sports player being the top pitcher in her league, was a brown belt in Sudo and was a major risk taker wanting to always go skydiving. Patricia enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren playing outside and watching them grow. She was dedicated to everyone of her family even through her illness. Patricia will always be remembered as being generous, for her wisdom, faith in God and for her strength.
Besides her mother Patricia is also survived by her loving husband of 29 years Stanley G. Alexander of Lockport; beloved mother of Jennifer (Ray) Alexander of Lockport and Stanley (Katie) Alexander of Portsmouth, VA; cherished grandmother of Cody, Evan, Tess and Logan; sister of Barbara Chunco, Tammy Bailey and Robert Wright; also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Sunday 4-8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Monday at 1 PM. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
