David Kelley Obituary

David R. Kelley passed away May 6, 2010 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born September 2, 1935 in Lockport he was the son of Floyd and Rosetta (Parsons) Kelley. David served in the US Marine Corp from 1953 to 1960 where he earned the National Defense Service Medal. He worked for All Auto Parts as a parts manager from 1968 to 1979. David enjoyed traveling, working in the yard and especially Christmas. He was predeceased by his first wife Sylvia Kelley on September 21, 1989.


David is survived his wife Arlene (Best-Ferguson) Kelley of Lockport; father of Keith(Beth) Kelley of Lockport, David (Debra) Kelley of Florida, Tina (Donald) Spillman of Newfane, Brian (Louise) Kelley of Lockport and the late Mike Kelley; step-father of Charlene (Larry) Frasier of Gasport, Laurel (Gary) Chambers of Buffalo, Alice Blake of Lockport, Mary (Eddie) Sink of Gasport, Donna (David) Holmes, Floyd (Lynn) Ferguson and Garth (Amy) Ferguson all of Lockport; grandfather of 33; great grandfather of 21; brother of the late Dawn Webber; also survived by several nieces and nephews.


Relatives and friends may call Saturday 10-12 Noon at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will immediately follow at 12 Noon. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to Niagara Hospice, Newfane Lions Club or to the American Red Cross would be appreciated by the family. Services

Funeral services will immediately follow at 12 Noon on Saturday in the funeral home.

Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
