Jarrod N. Edmister of Fairbanks, Alaska, formerly of Lockport passed away March 28, 2009. Born March 19, 1982 in Lockport he is the son of Dianne Sullivan of Lockport and Thomas (Diana) Edmister of Olcott. Jarrod served in the US Army as a medic and worked as a pharmacy technician for Fred Mayer. He enjoyed karaoke, cooking, fishing, was an avid movie buff and writer. Jarrod was planning on writing a book with his mother. Besides his parents Jarrod is also survived by his sisters Jennifer (Alan) Kuhn, Stephanie Sherman, Nicole (Dennis) Wakelam all of Lockport and Melissa Edmister of Olcott; grandson of John Sullivan of Lockport, Al &amp; Ethel Edmister of Middleport and the late Hazel Sullivan; also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Sunday 1-5 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. Memorials may be made to Diane Sullivan for the care of Jarrod's Child c/o Cornerstone Community FCU, 6485 S. Transit Rd., Lockport, NY 14094, would be appreciated by the family. <h3>Visitation</h3> Relatives and friends may call Sunday, April 5th 1-5 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.
