Obituary of Carol Murrell

Carol Murrell passed away March 26, 2009 in Niagara Hospice House. Born May 18, 1939 in Tonawanda she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Graff) Stopa. Carol worked in production for Harrison Radiator for 25 years retiring in 1995. She was a member of the Elks Lodge and Eagles Lodge. Carol enjoyed the Buffalo Bills and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Carol is survived by her children Douglas (Roselle) Murrell of Appleton, Andrew Murrell of Lockport and Nancy (Edward) Bartoezewski of Raleigh, NC. She was the grandmother of Owen Bartoezski, Zackary Murrell and Logan Murrell. Carol is also survived by her siblings Joseph (Helen) Stopa, Jr. of Mobile, AL, Nancy Holly, Virginia (Gene) Pickles and Lorraine (Carl) Wiltberger all of Lockport. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and her faithful friend, Tippi. Relatives and friends may call Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1 PM. Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery.
