Obituary of Robert Garlock

Robert L. Garlock passed away March 25, 2009 in Briody Health Care Facility. Born September 10, 1921 in Lockport he was the son of the late Charles and Jessie (Harper) Garlock. Robert served in the US Navy from 1942 to 1945 during WW II. He worked as an installer for New York Telephone. Robert was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church and the NY Telephone Pioneers. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and traveling. Robert was predeceased by his wife Vincenza F. "Jennie" (Licata) Garlock on October 7, 2008. Robert is survived by his two loving sons, Robert M. (Patrcia) Garlock of Ohio and Richard D. (Lynn) Garlock of Lockport; cherished grandfather of Andrew, Jennifer Garlock, Robby, Michael and Katy Garlock; caring brother of Howard (Sharon) Garlock, Mary Louise Weinheimer both of Lockport and the late Ralph M. (Mary), Charles J. and James F. Garlock; also survived several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Friday 4-8 PM at Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday afternnoon at 1 PM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
