Harry "Hank" Jones born August 12,1933 in Jersey City, N.J. son of the late Herman and Mae (Golda) Jones, passed away March 10, 2009 in Niagara Hospice House. Hank attended Lockport Schools and was a 1953 graduate of DeSales High School. He served in US Army from 1953-1955 in the Korean War as a field artillery specialist. Hank married Barbara (nee Kalendowicz) Jones on June 23, 1956 at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Jersey City N.J. celebrating 53 years together. He lived in Jersey City N.J. for several years before returning to Lockport in 1964. While in New Jersey, Hank graduated as a draftsman from Jersey City Technical Institute. He was employed at Curtis Wright Aeronautics, Woodbridge, N.J. for a time, then Englander Bedding Co. and American Furniture Co. of Bayonne, N.J where he learned his trade as an upholsterer. In Lockport, he was employed at International Multifoods before opening his business which was, Hank Jones Upholstery, in 1965 till retiring in 1998. He was an avid fisherman, golfer and bowled on many leagues through the years. Hank will be missed for his humor, funny jokes and his kind and loving spirit. Most important to him were his grandchildren and their daily accomplishments. Devoted father of Judith (David) Morrison of Lockport and late Jeffrey (Susan) Jones of Cheektowaga; cherished grandfather of Patricia and Adam Jones, Brianna Ashley Morrison; two step grandsons Samuel and Jonathan Morrison; great grandfather of Hayley Richardson, Megan Jones and the late Kyla Jones; dear brother of Marion (Louis) Smehill DeSoto of Edison, N.J. Dorothy (Felix) Kutrybala, Richard Jones of Lockport; brother-in-law of Richard (Gail) Kalendowicz of Wayne NJ and Elaine Domalewski of Brick NJ; also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins &amp;quot;grand dogs&amp;quot; Nipper; Emily and Isabelle and "grand cats" Daisy and the late Merlin. Relatives and friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where prayers will be offered Saturday at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Mary's RC Church, 5 Saxton St., Lockport. Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. <h3>Visitation</h3> Friday, March 13, 2009 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport <h3>Services</h3> Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Mary's RC Church, 5 Saxton St., Lockport <h3>Interment</h3> Queen of Heaven Cemetery
