"Jim" Sydney James Cash of Lockport, NY passed away unexpectedly January 24, 2009 in Inter-Community Memorial Hospital, Newfane, NY. Born April 19, 1945 in Carthage, MO, he was the son of Sidney H. and Edna Mae (Lorms) Cash. "Jim" was a 1963 graduate of Newfane High School, upon graduation joined the U.S. Air Force during the Viet Nam War serving in Thailand attaining the rank of Staff Sgt. After returning from service he went to Harrison Radiator and retired after 30 years from Delphi Thermal. He was an avid hot rod enthusiast, enjoying car shows and cruise night and was a member of the NHRA. Jim is the father of Jeffrey Cash of Lockport, Christina (Jeffrey) Moran of Newfane and Rachel (Joseph Harrington) Cash of Middleport; grandfather of Sean and Brian Moran. He also leaves his good friend Tammy Jo Goodman of Lockport; his two canine buddies Brandy and Willie; and was the brother of the late Harry Cash. There will be no prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service to be held Wednesday afternoon at 3 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, NY. <h3>Visitation</h3> No prior visitation <h3>Services</h3> Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 3 PM in funeral home
