Howard L. Miller passed away January 18, 2009 in Lockport Memorial Hospital. Born November 15, 1919 in Buffalo he was the son of the late Herman Miller and Grace (Dean) Miller Solokis. Her served in the US Army during WW II. Howard was a member of the First Baptist Church, Lockport, a life member of the VFW and also the Lockport Grange. He worked as a welder for Cowels Chemical and Smonds Saw &amp; Steel retiring in 1985. He was predeceased by his wife Florence (Mosher) Miller in 1988. Howard is survived by his children Robert (Linda) Miller, Deborah (Dennis) Griesser both of Lockport, Diane (Peter) Townsend of California and Melissa Scott of Florida; grandfather of twelve and great grandfather of twenty-one; also survived by his dear friend Elaine Shelley of Lockport. There will be no prior visitation. A Memorial Services will be celebrated Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 1 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Memorials to the First Baptist Youth Endowment, 140 Genesee St., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family. <h3>Visitation</h3> No prior visitation. <h3>Services</h3> Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 1 PM in funeral home <h3>Interment</h3> Huskey Cemetery
