Obituary of Leon LaSage Sr.

Leon L. LaSage, Sr. passed away after a brief illness December 31, 2008 in Lockport Memorial Hospital. Born December 5, 1932 in Conneaut Lake, PA he was the son of the late Leon and Blanche (Parker) LaSage. He worked in production for Simonds Saw & Steel retiring in December of 1991. Leon is survived by his wife Geraldine F. (Gillings) LaSage od Lockport whom he married August 4, 1956 in Lockport. He also survived by his children Luther (MaryAnn) LaSage of Ohio, Aleta LaSage of Florida, Charles LaSage of Iowa, Leon (Tammy) LaSage of Idaho, Donna (Douglas) Coulson of North Carolina, Christine LaSage of Lockport, Jake (Karen) LaSage of Rochester and the late David LaSage. Leon is the brother of Gertrude Fish of Arizona, Josephine Rendolic of Pennsylvania, the late James LaSage and Eva Smith. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and also several in-laws.
There will be no prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service on Sunday at 2 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.
