Anita Robinson Rocklein Reid Obituary
Anita Marie Robinson Rocklein Reid passed away December 28, 2008 after a brief battle with cancer at Niagara Hospice House. Born October 29, 1942 in Lockport to the late Fred "Huck" and M. Eileen(Garrity) Robinson, she is "6th generation Niagara County." Anita graduated from Lockport High School and went on to SUNY Brockport for her bachelors degree. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and also as a waitress. She loved sewing, knitting, genealogy, car racing, playing cards, and sailing. She is the ex wife of George H. Rocklein and the late Wallace H. Reid.
Anita is survived by her four children Lisa(Mark) Sullivan of Lockport, Diane(Dave) Fletcher of Brockport, Greg(Wendy) Rocklein of Florida, and Danielle(Tim) Parker of Burt; her nine grandchildren Caitlin, Audrey, and David Fletcher, Shawnna, Shawn, Terrance, Angella, and Noah Rocklein, and Reid Parker.
Relatives and friends may call Tuesday from 2-9 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Juvenile Diabetes Association or Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
