Clair L. Kirkman passed away December 22, 2008 in Medina Memorial Hospital. Born June 6, 1936 in Lockport he was the son of Clair and Judy Augustine Kirkman. Clair served nine years in the National Guard, Lockport. He retired as the co-manager of Loblaws Super Market in Lockport. Clair enjoyed Model Rail Road collecting, having several HO scale trains, he also enjoyed working in his yard, but his true enjoyment was his family, he enjoyed spending time with his wife, and grandchildren and their families. He is the husband of Marlene Meacham Kirkman; father of Robert (Maryellen) of Farmington, NY; grandfather of Dianna (Terry) Charles of England, Jillian (David) Hines of Florida, Robert and Christopher Kirkman of Farmington. He also leaves four great-grandchildren Joshua and Gabriella Charles and Alexander and Adryanah Hines.

There will be no visitation. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials to the American Diabetes Association, Buffalo, NY Office, 315 Alberta Drive, Suite 102, Amherst, NY 14226 would be appreciated by the family.
