Obituary of Celeste Lytle

Celeste A. Lytle passed away February 6, 2008 in Niagara Hospice House.� Born June 20, 1925 in Ransomville, she was the daughter of John Irving Allen and Julia Dickinson Allen.� She graduated from Wilson High School in 1941.� Celeste and her husband, William, were partners in business, running Ridgewood Lumber Company for 29 years.� She was a 62 year member of the First Baptist Church, Lockport and volunteered for 36 years for Meals-On-Wheels, as well as in other church and community activities. � Celeste is survived by her husband of 61 years, William F. Lytle of Lockport; mother of Mary (Roderick) Munn of Cleveland, OH, Jane (Robert) Speer of Milwaukee, WI, Robert (Judith) Lytle of Boston, MA and Anne (Hyland) Hartsough of Rochester, NY; grandmother of nine; sister of the late Ralph and Clayton Allen. � Interment will be in North Ridge Cemetery.� A Memorial Service will be held on February 23, 2008 at 11 AM at the First Baptist Church, 140 Genesee Street, Lockport, NY 14094.� In Lieu of flowers, memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094 or to the First Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family. <h3>Visitation</h3> Visitation Times
