Arnold P. "Arnie" Barnett passed away Tuesday February 5, 2008.� Born May 3, 1950 in East Williston, Long Island, New York, he was the son of the late Arnold and Rita Peters Barnett.� "Arnie" as he was known was the Director of Pupil Personnel with the Pembroke Central School District.� He was a generous family man and positively enhanced the lives of countless individuals both young and old whose lives he touched. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing.� Arnie was the husband of Joyce R. Belliveau Barnett of Lockport; father of Karli (Steven) Sturtevant of Middleport and Christina Bickel of North Tonawanda; and is also survived by his pet friends Ginger and Bailey.� Arnold was the brother of Carol Barnett, Peter (Judy) Barnett, Paul (Kathi) Barnett, John (Jayne) Barnett, Ellen Diana and Brian (Anna) Barnett.�� He is also the nephew of �Sister Eleanor Peters R.S.M. and is survived by several nieces, nephews and countless friends.



Family and friends may call Friday 4-8 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.� A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport.� Memorials to the American Cancer Society, 101 John J. Audubon Pkwy., Amherst, NY 14228-1198 or to the St. John Outreach Center, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport, NY 14094 or to Arnie's Kids Club For Life, c/o M&T Bank, 1 East Avenue, Corfu, NY 14036, to provide skills to special needs students would be appreciated by the family.
