Helen Barnes Obituary

Helen E. Barnes passed away January 5, 2008 in Chapel Point at Carlisle in Carlisle, PA.� Born September 6, 1905 in Tidioute, PA she was the daughter of the late James and Augusta Johnson Russell.� Helen worked in circulation for the Lockport Union Sun & Journal.� She was a charter member of the Lockport Alliance Church.� Helen was predeceased by her husband Harold Barnes in April of 1984.



Helen is the mother of James R. (Becky) Barnes and the late Harold Barnes, Jr. and Wilma Bowler; grandmother of four and great grandmother of two; sister of the late Henry Russell, Esther Battles and Lillian Lazarik; also survived by several nieces and nephews.



There will be no prior visitation.� Private graveside services will be held in Glenwood cemetery at the convenience of the family.� Memorials to the Lockport Alliance Church, 555 Davison Road, Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family.
