Robert G. Higgins, retired business owner, salesman, and entrepreneur died December 21, 2007 after a brief illness. �Born in York, PA, Robert graduated from Lackawanna High School and served in the Army from 1945 through 1947. He then attended The University of Buffalo, where he studied mechanical engineering. After an award winning career as a salesman for National Cash Register, he then owned and operated several local businesses. Robert had been a past member of the Newfane Lions Club and V.F.W.

Brother of Kenneth and the late John Higgins; father of Janet, Eileen, Maureen, Robert and Brian.� Robert was predeceased by daughter Kathy and son Bruce. �He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday 3-7 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.
