Obituary of Margaret Steinkuhler

Margaret Steinkuhler passed away December 20, 2007 in Lockport memorial Hospital.� Born October 25, 1918 in Lockport she was the daughter of Robert and Blanche Sweeney Garner.� Margaret graduated from Lockport High School and attended Buffalo State College.� She worked as a secretary at the Pentagon where she met her husband late Leonard Steinkuhler, originally from Nebraska, and married him in 1944.� Margaret and her husband then moved to Lockport where she worked for 33 years for the Lockport School District from 1949 to 1983 as the secretary for the superintendent.� She was predeceased by her Leonard who passed away in April of 1954. � Margaret is survived by her children Robert Steinkuhler of Key West, FL and Barbara (Robert) Valery of Lockport.� She was the grandmother of William (Susan) O&amp;#39;Reilly of Atlanta, GA and Michael (Beth) O&amp;#39;Reilly of Boston, MA.� Margaret is also survived by six great grandsons.� She was predeceased by her brother John Garner. � There will be no prior visitation.� A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 12 noon in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport.� Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.� � � <h3>Visitation</h3> Visitation Times
