Obituary of Carmen Marchiole

Carmen V. Marchiole passed away December 20, 2007 in Lockport memorial Hospital.� Born October 25, 1922 in Fairport, NY he was the son of Michael and Mary Triano Marchiole.� Carmen served in the Army from 1942 to 1946 during WW II.� He attended the University at Buffalo earning his Bachelors Degree.� Carmen worked for Harrison Radiator where he was an Analytical Engineer retiring in 1985.� He served on the board for AAA, was the treasurer for Glenwood Cemetery and was the Chief Financial Officer for St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church.� Carmen was a member of the Elks and was also an honorary member of the National Association of Priest Pilots.� He enjoyed fishing and hunting.� Carmen was predeceased by his wife Josephine Ruzzi Marchiole on May 12, 1996.

Carmen is survived by his two sons Richard V. Marchiole of Lockport and Thomas J. (K. Joyce) Marchiole, Sr. of Newfane; grandfather of Elizabeth Sapp, Carmen Marchiole, Thomas (Kristen) Marchiole, Jr. and Nicholas Marchiole; great grandfather of Anna, Adrianna, Dominick and Madison.

Friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where prayers will be offered Saturday at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 391 Market Street, Lockport.� Entombment will be in Glenwood Mausoleum.
