Donald R. Callaghan passed away December 12, 2007 at Largo Medical Center in Largo, Fl.� Born November 29, 1930 he was the son of the late William J. and Louise Schultz Callaghan.� He served in the U.S. Navy from 1949 to 1953 achieving the rank MM3-C. �Don worked as a lineman for Niagara Mohawk and was a member of the Eagles Club, V.F.W. and the American Legion.� He is predeceased by his wife Mary Alice Gaygon Callaghan, who passed away February 26, 1994.

Don was the brother of Sally Dockery of Lockport, the late William Callaghan, Thomas Callaghan and Patricia Renna.� He is survived by his special friend Jean West and his sister in-law Marion Callaghan, he is also survived by several brother and sister in-laws and nieces and nephews.�

Friends may call Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, Inc., 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where prayers will be offered Wednesday morning at 9:30 AM.� Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Patrick's R.C. Church, 76 Church Street, Lockport.� Entombment will be in Glenwood Mausoleum.� Memorials to the American Lung Association of W.N.Y., 210 John Drive #3, Amherst, NY 14228 would be appreciated by the family.
