Carmella "Nellie" DiTullio passed away December 12, 2007 under the care of Niagara Hospice.� Born October 13, 1917 in Lockport she was the daughter of Sandy and Katie (Corriere) Torriere.� Nellie had just celebrated her 90th birthday in October at the Lockport Town & Country Club with her family and friends.� She had also just had a large Christmas party this past Monday evening at Hospice House with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.� Nellie always had an extra plate set at her table for dinner for any company that should show up at meal time.� She was a member of St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church in Lockport, St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Lyndonville and St. Vincent de Paul in Fort Myers, FL.� Nellie was also a member of the St. Anthony's Altar & Rosary Society, the DeSales Mother's Club, Lady of Fatima Society, a member of various elementary school PTA's and volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul visiting the elderly.� Nellie was also an active resident at the Lockport Presbyterian Home.� She enjoyed being a loving and caring fulltime mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she also enjoyed her winters in Fort Myers, FL and summers on Lake Ontario in Lyndonville.� Nellie was predeceased by her husband of 59 years whom she married September 5, 1938 Guido DiTullio on November 18, 1997.� They had celebrated their 50th anniversary in 1988.

Nellie was the devoted mother of Lorraine (James) Sparks, Anthony (Cheryl) DiTullio and Sandy (Michael) O'Neil all of Lockport; cherished grandmother of eleven and great grandmother of sixteen; sister of the late Louis Torriere and James (Bette) Torriere; sister-in-law of Rose Torriere, Bianca DiMillo and Marion DiTullio; she is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Friday 3-7 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where prayers will be offered Saturday at 11 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport.� Entombment will be in Glenwood Mausoleum.� Memorials to the Lockport Presbyterian Home, Attn. Activities Department, 327 High Street, Lockport, NY 14094 would be greatly appreciated by the family.
