Frederick H. Green passed away December 9, 2007 in Niagara Hospice House.� Born January 19, 1938 in Buffalo he was the son of Nicholas J. and Grace Royalty Green.� Frederick worked in transportation for Leaseway Transportation and Tonawanda Tank where he became manager at both facilities and retired from Higgins Erectors in Buffalo.� He enjoyed being with his family where he was the caretaker, provider and protector.� Frederick was a member of the JayCees, enjoyed camping, traveling, cars of all makes and going to car shows and he was always there to help anybody.

Frederick is survived by his wife Ruth Muggelberg Green whom he married in 1960.� He is also survived by his son Joseph Green of Clarence Center, NY and his daughter Jennifer (Scott) Striffler of Lockport.� Frederick was the grandfather of Nicholas and Joseph Striffler.

Friends may call Wednesday 4-7 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 AM.� Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.� Memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094 or to the Stacey Scott Lung Cancer Registry, c/o Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Elm & Carlton Streets, Buffalo, NY 14263 would be appreciated by the family.
