John Terranova passed away November 30, 2007 in ECMC.� Born November 28, 1938 in Vittoria, Sicily, he was the son of Battista and Concetta Cirasa Terranova.� John worked at Scalzo's Garage when he first came to America at the age of 18 for nine years.� John served in the United States Army in 1961 to 1963 earning a Good Conduct Medal and a Sharpshooter Medal.� He then worked at Harrison's Radiator for thirty years where he retired in 1994.� John was a member of the UAW 686 and also enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.� John is survived by his wife Teresa Martino Terranova whom were married on June 10, 1961.

John is also survived by his children John Terranova, Concetta (Mary McConnell), and Patricia (Steven) Moran all of Lockport; grandfather of John Terranova, Joseph Terranova, Erika Terranova (Dave Schuster), Mathew (Pamela) Stevens, and Giovanni Moran; great grandfather of Kaleb Schuster and Kalista Stevens; brother of Angela (Giovanni) Dengo of Sicily; brother-in-law of Charles Martino, Connie (Bob) Verity, Jessie (The late Joe) Salmari, Josephine (Les) Brewer, Mary Ann Drew, and The late Rosie (Willard) Johnson.� He is survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.� John is also predeceased by his in-laws Attillio and Maria DiCarlo Martino and good friend Raymond Budziszewski.

Family and friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 at Prudden and Kandt Funeral home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.� A mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 391 Market Street, Lockport.� Internment will be at Cold Spring Cemetery.� Memorials to the American Heart Association, P.O.
