Obituary of Lucy Dames

Lucy Mae Dames passed away November 17, 2007 in Lockport Memorial Hospital.� Born March 10, 1929 in Valdorea, Ga., she was the daughter of Guss and Donnie Adams.� Lucy worked at Harrison Radiator for 24 years in production.� She also enjoyed Fishing and spending time with her grandchildren.� Lucy was predeceased by her husband Randolph Dames on May 13, 1976.

Lucy is survived by her children Alice Lee Major Saintil of Port St. Lucie, Fl, Frank Adams of Lockport, James Edward Sneed of Fort Pierce, Fl., Linda Denise Dames of Lockport; sister of Evelyn Haynes; grandmother of 16, great grandmother of 12 and great great grandmother of two.� Lucy is also the sister of the late Ruth Bell ‘Lil Bit' Clarke, George Adams, and Mole-Allen Adams.� Lucy is survived by numerous brother and sister-in-laws in the Bahamas and Florida, and several nieces and nephews and great and great great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call Monday and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where a service will be held Wednesday morning at 11 AM.� Interment will be at Cold Springs Cemetery.���
