Obituary of Florence Woodhouse

Florence E. Woodhouse passed away November 8, 2007 in Odd Fellows & Rebekah Health Care Facility.� She was born June 2, 1913 in Albion, NY.� Florence worked in production for Harrison Radiator for 38 and a half years retiring January 1, 1974.� She loved to play the piano learning mostly by ear.� Florence was a member of the Knights of Columbus Women's Auxiliary and the Elks Auxiliary.� She was predeceased by her husbands Weldon "Cy" Young and Carlton Woodhouse.

Florence was the aunt of Linda (Douglas) Chamberlain of Rochester, Jaquelyn (Dennis) Powers of Elma, Richard Richau, Herb Fravel both of Munson, PA and the late Gary Richau; step-mother of Carol (Bill) Yahn of Rochester and James (Maggie) Woodhouse of Florida; step-grandmother of Kevin and Kristin Yahn, Kelley and Michael Woodhouse.� She was predeceased by her brother John True and sisters Cecilia Richau and Dorothy Tracy.� She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Monday 4-7 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where prayers will be offered Tuesday at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport.� Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery. �Memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094 or to Odd Fellows & Rebekah Health Care Facility, 104 Old Niagara Road, Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family.
