Raymond E. Jones passed away December 16, 2008 in Hospice House.� Born May 8, 1914 to Anna and Everett Jones in Wilkes-Barre, PA he leaves behind his beloved wife of 44 years, Bessie Sargeant Jones.� Ray "Tiger" Jones also known as "Jonsie" was a well known drummer and a lifetime member of the Lockport Federation of Musicians.� He played his drums from the age of eight through his 90th birthday when he rocked his relatives and friends by playing "Wipe Out".� Ray sold cars for most of his career working for Barton Oldsmobile, Timkey Cadillac and Declaration Dodge before retiring in 1979.� He was a former member of the Tuscarora Yacht Club and a longtime member of the Elks Club.� Ray will be remembered as always being the life of the party and could always fix anything.

Besides his wife he is the father of Richard (Judith) Jones, Thomas (Ann) Jones, Raymond "Harry" (Pat) Jones and John Jones; step-father of Sandra Greenman (Martin) Sefranek; grandfather of Leanne Haley-Brown, Martin Sefranek; great grandfather of Joseph Brown and also survived by several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.�

Friends may call Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where funeral Services will be held Friday morning at 11 AM.� Memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr. Lockport, NY 14094 or the charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.�
